Founded in 1990, CDV is one of the leading publishers and distributors of PC software in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, having published over 300 games in total. The company launched on to the Neuer Markt in Germany (equivalent to the USA's NASDAQ index) earlier this year and has recently set up its UK division with Sudden Strike as its first UK-published title.
At the end of summer 2003, CDV closed its UK office in north London.
CDV's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 2000 title, "Sudden Strike" (PC).
The company has been involved titles released on the PC, DS/DSi and Xbox. Of these, "Cossacks: European Wars" (PC) and "Cossacks: The Art of War" (PC) have been best selling titles.
The company's most recent involvement was on the 2010 release "Mr Physics" (PC).
