As far back as I can remember I always wanted to be a Game Designer...
Designed very first computer game on VIC20 way back in 1981. Bedroom development continued through C64, ST, Amiga, PC until landed first professional postion at VIS entertainment (formerly VIS interactive) in 1997. Got an MA in Film & Television Studies and Theatre Studies along the way.
Started at VIS as a Map Designer, then promoted to Lead Game Designer on Earthworm Jim 3D (Interplay/Rockstar). Then Lead Game Designer on Tom and Jerry: Fists of Furry (Newkidco/Ubisoft). Game Design Consultant on State of Emergency (Rockstar) in 2001, and have consulted on several other projects.
Currently Assistant Director on unannounced project.
Peter Shea's first video game work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1999 title, "Earthworm Jim 3D" (N64) as Game Design. Of the titles listing Peter within the credits , "State of Emergency" (PS2) and "Earthworm Jim 3D" (N64) have been best selling titles.
Peter's most recent involvement was as Game Design on the 2003 release "State of Emergency" (Xbox).
