Summary
The MXGP series is back for another season of rough and ready riding across all the dirt two wheels can handle, and it has a few new tricks under its helmet.
For starters, this will be the first time you can live experience of the current MXGP World Championship. All this season's official bikes, riders and teams from MXGP and MX2 are licensed and in the mix. You'll be joining them in 19 official events all over the world and, just as you'd expect out there on the real track, different weather conditions are waiting to wreak havoc on your race.
Behind the official licenses and realistic track conditions, however, there's definitely something more playful lurking. This edition marks the introduction of a track editor with tons of options for building your own course. This means you can cook up just about anything you can imagine (within the realms of physics, anyway!). Plus, thanks to the option to share, you can also access a potentially infinite number of new and novel tracks. There's even a leaderboard to see whose track gets downloaded the most!
On top of that, there's another new mode that allows you to create challenges by peppering a track with waypoints that riders have to hit, and you can stick those online, too.
It adds up to a game that, while it still has all the officially licensed material MXGP fans are looking for, embraces the down and dirty spirit of the sport with a more creative approach to playing around in the dirt.
