Summary

The world's most powerful vampire is on the prowl and it's up to you to burn, impale and decapitate your way through undead hordes to prevent the denizens of the dark from world domination!

It's not quite so bleak as it sounds, though. Under your command are five uniqe heroes, each bringing their own particular skillset to the field.

Hero Defense blends real-time strategy and role-playing game elements to produce something that doesn't really look like anything else out there. In effect, it's a tower defense game that jettisons boring old stationary towers in favour of the kind of defenders that move. Namely, your heroes. They're colour-coded to be effective against different kinds of enemies, so the red hero Jack does more damage against red vampires, while the blue hero Barrows does best against blue skeletons and so on. Your job, as well as building up each hero's skillset to make them as handy in a fight as possible, is to keep them moving on the map to make sure they're being as effective as possible. Each level offers multiple routes for the undead to lurch, crawl and lumber to their objectives, and it's on you to make sure they don't get there!

In short, Hero Defense needs you to take the 'un' out of undead!
