Hidden Agenda - PS4

Hidden Agenda is a narrative adventure game with a pretty huge twist.

You follow Detective Becky Marnie, a policewoman who as a rookie beat cop put away the Trapper, a serial killer who used victims to set lethal traps for the police. Five years on, however, the Trapper is sentenced to die but has begun pleading innocence. The case is re-opened and it's up to you to find out the truth. The players make key decisions on how to proceed with the case, with each choice having ripple effects that can affect how this dark, tense thriller progresses.

The twist, however, comes from Sony's PlayLink feature. This is a flagship game for the feature, which has up to six players downloading a companion app and playing together. In co-op mode, players must vote using the app to decide how to proceed. Competitive mode, however, takes things up yet another notch. In the mode of card games such as Killer or One Night Ultimate Werewolf, at the start of each round someone will be given an Agenda card at random. They will be acting against the other players in some way, attempting to derail the investigation by trying to convince other players to vote in their own interests.

The result is a psychological battle of wits that brings Hidden Agenda right into the living room! more
