Summary

It's weird, but until Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor: Martyr (henceforth to be known simply as 'Martyr') came along, no-one had put an action RPG in the Warhammer 40K universe. So, for the first time, you can plunge into the Chaos-infested Caligari sector and (we're quoting developer NeoCore Games directly here) "purge the unclean with the most powerful agents of the Imperium of Man." It's going to be grim, brutal stuff for sure.

At your fingertips is a dark open world, packed with intense missions and bloody encounters. The Caligari Sector star map offers up a huge range of possibilities, packed with different solar systemns riddled with different terrains, infested Void Stations and abandoned Star Forts. A lot of it's destructible, and with a cover system that offers up tactical advantages, it's on you to blast, maim and execute your way to victory.

As with any dyed in the wool RPG, there are different classes and specialisations giving you the opportunity to play your own way. Whether you fancy your chances as a stalwart Crusader Inquisitor, a cunning killer with the Death Cult Assassin background or a devastating user of the powers of Warp with the Primaris Psyker background, the stars are yours to take.

NeoCore is in it for the long haul, too. Post-launch, expect new enemy factions, new terrain settings, new missions and mission types, new story-driven investigations and new gameplay features. There's everything to fight (and die) for in Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor: Martyr.
