Summary

Fit & Fun from Funbox is a Wii fitness regime developed with the help of fitness experts and aimed at a thoroughly adult market.

That said, the word ‘fun’ isn’t in the title for no reason. The game will take the gamer through their paces, encouraging and helping them to fitness. However, it does so by enabling them to create and maintain their own workout schedule.

This is achieved by selecting different exercises from the available areas. These are: muscle training, body shaping, fun and recreation.

Within these areas the gamer can choose from more than 50 different and varied exercises with six individual mini-games available. Each of those comes with 15 levels. Gamers will get to experience activities as diverse as hang gliding, bobsledding badminton, Wae Bo, Rope Skipping and Beach Running.

The areas concentrated on are:

- Body shaping, which comes with three games at different levels of exercise and includes Wae Bo, Rope Skipping and Beach Running.
- Muscle Training: with 40 exercises in four different areas.
- Recreation has 20 exercises in two different areas and includes a Relaxation/Cooldown option, as well as essential Stretching exercises, Qi Gong and meditation based on Tai Chi and Zazen.
- All of these sports, games and activities are carried out in an order, at a pace and within a schedule that enable the player to work alone with an on-screen fitness trainer.
