Summary

Would you call a male cat Kay? No doubt he was picked on at school, but you'd better not mess with him now – he's a feline with some serious sword skills and a major attitude. A young, agile and brave warrior, Kay is called into action when his village is invaded by the evil gorilla Emperor Shun and his band of simian soldiers.

The war between the gorillas and the cats is one that everyone knows, of course, and shows no signs of stopping it seems. To avenge the raid and to protect his race, Kay goes on a grand adventure to take down the Emperor once and for all. As you would expect, Shun resides in a volcano fortress, which contains an incredible secret.

Once a 3D action platformer on the PlayStation 2, The Legend of Kay is updated to 21st Century gameplay mechanics for the Nintendo DS. All of Kay's moves will be familiar to those who played the 2005 original, but this time you get to pull off devastating sword attacks and skilled manoeuvres by using the intuitive touchscreen on the handheld.

With a simple control scheme, exciting levels and many missions and secrets to uncover, The Legend of Kay is a must for cat-lovers everywhere. Especially if you don't like gorillas.
