Summary

TRON has always remained in the hearts of 1980s kids as one of the most technically accomplished films ever made - at least, in terms of that sheer ‘wow’ fantasy factor. With a modern sequel on the horizon - and the sublime relief that it will not be a dud - Disney Interactive is exploring the digital universe further with TRON: Evolution.

The game is set in an era between the two TRON films, and tells the story of significant events in the franchise’s mythology that both reference and shape the future of the TRON series. As well as providing some background to the TRON: Legacy film, TRON: Evolution aims to stand out as a game in its own right. As a result, fans should play the game in order to learn the whole story behind the series.

So expect an intense gameplay experience that marries the technical wonder of the original and upcoming films with all of the gameplay mechanics seen in best-selling Disney titles. And of course, the best part about this adventure game is that you get to run around a techno-world filled with high mobility disc-based combat and advanced light cycles. Light cycles, baby! If you’re not interest in that concept, you should probably just go home now
