Prepare for a first person shooter with a difference. You take the role of special agent Scorpion, taking on a mission to stop alien species and terrorist organisations from causing havoc in the Middle East. Set in the future, you must try to tackle a dangerous terrorist foe in 2048, a time of political and nuclear crisis. Tribal wars, religious fanaticism and ruthless Warlords are rife across the land.
The action starts right away for Agent Scorpion as you land right in the middle of the first wave of resistance against your movements, in the form of un-dead workers, super humans and security guards. Special kinds of weapons are required for a job like this, and Scorpion has it all from pistols and grenades to machine guns and automatic shotguns. That'll get the job done nicely.
You get a cool suit though, which allows Scorpion to slow down time, use night vision and access heat sensors and a shield. Each function drains power, so you're going to have to think on your feet and use the energy sparingly and strategically between rounds of collectible batteries. Special abilities that are at your grasp include psyshock, regeneration and even mind control, which can be levelled up alongside the weapons.
Scorpion: Disfigured offers a broad depth of gameplay for those FPS gamers wanting a little bit more from their action.
