We've all got one hand we favour over the other – we're lefties or we're righties. That can change thanks to Left Brain Right Brain 2.

It sounds like another straightforward entry into the brain training genre popularised by Dr Kawashima, doesn't it? While it certainly shares attributes with games such as Brain Age, there's more to it than that. The game is played with the DS held in a notebook style and presents players with a range of challenges that should be completed with both the right and left hand, training both your appendages and the different sides of your brain in the process.

There are 20 new games on offer, including Air Mail, Balloon Attack, Block Buster, Coin Race, Color Match, Cosmic Seesaw, Dark Dungeon, Excavation, Fire Trap, Hang Glider, Hungry Frog, Pachinko, Pillow Fight, Rolling Stone, Slots, Snowman Toss, Space Escape, Super Ball, Traffic Jam, and UFO Attack.

To see how well you're doing, Ambidexterity Check enables players to get stuck into three games at random using both their good hand and weak hand, comparing results.

You can also play against friends, with the game featuring both single and multi-cart multiplayer modes.
