Summary

Driving's a tricky business, whatever the Burnout games or Mario Kart would have you believe. You've got about a billion different things to think about at once and you're moving around a ton or so of metal which can, if handled poorly, cause a lot of damage to delicate human flesh (and less delicate things, like walls and other cars, for that matter). It seems only reasonable, then, that the DVLA wants to make sure you're up to scratch before you get behind the wheel and tootle off by yourself. Yes, it's a pain, we know. Fortunately, Atari wants to help.

And so it is that we now have Driving Theory Training for the Nintendo DS. This piece of software is aimed at giving provisional license holders a helping hand for when the big day of the test rolls around.

Atari's offering up the full driving theory questions, complete with all their answers. It also has each and every answer, all officially licensed by the Driving Standards Agency. As well as a full theory test based on the honest-to-God real exam, the software includes revision, graphs, Q&As and the Highway Code. Of course, this is a piece of software for the DS, not a textbook, so expect mini-games with which to get all interactive.

Driving tests cost money, so think of this as an investment!
