Summary

Developed by FromSoftware, the Armored Core series made its debut on the PSOne in 1998. Players must customise their Core Units with a variety of weapons, parts and options, so they are ready to kick some mech bottom. Armored Core: Last Raven is the final Armored Core instalment for the PS2 and - according to the publisher - the most intense mech game ever. The game features a story mode where each selected mission has a direct impact on the storyline, as there are multiple endings.

Six months after the end of sequel Armored Core: Nexus, two powerful groups - the Alliance and the Vertex - are fighting for world dominance. The outcome rests firmly on the shoulders of the Raven pilots. This is where you come in, as players must assume the role of a Raven, an elite mech warrior who must choose which of the warring groups join and fight with. Ravens must be very careful in the fight for survival, either to defend their chosen side to the hilt or fight alone and face the combined wrath of all the Ravens.

Armored Core: Last Raven continues in the same tradition as the other games in the series, which will be music to the ears of Armored Core fans out there, but with improved gameplay effects, such as the ability for mechs to continue battling even after losing an arm, leg or head.
