Summary

If you've ever wanted to be a musical maestro without spending years learning a specific instrument, then Wii Music is the game for you. Following from Wii Sports and Wii Fit, this music title makes creation and performance accessible to anyone and everyone. Using just the Wii Remote and a connected Nunchuk, you can mimic the actions of playing over 60 different instruments from steel drums to acoustic guitars.

There's no fear of getting the music wrong, because Wii Music makes the right kind of sound for you. A rhythm checker in the corner of the screen makes sure you perform at the right time to perform accurately, but if you fancy you can freestyle a song completely and create your own interpretation of a classic song.

Over 50 tracks are included in the game to unlock and perform, from songs made famous by John Lennon, the Police, Kylie Minogue and even Tchaikovsky. Your friends and family can join in and become different members of the band, or you can play on your own and have the other instruments controlled by the Wii.

The music you make can be recorded to your console, 'packaged' as a CD and saved as a music video that you can keep and watch later. You can customise the stages you perform in, the music video cover and rate your performance on how well you did. These videos can even be shared with friends over Nintendo WiFi Connection who can watch, rate and even remix your works.

Added musical games and tutorials to help you learn how to play music all make Wii Music an attractive software package for those who don't care about making real music, but about having fun.
