Summary

In the midst of the chaos of a war-torn world, the Elite Peregrine Falcons Squad hurried to complete their development of the next wave of Metal Slugs in the hope of bolstering their firepower enough to quell the rising conflicts.

Unfortunately, the government research facility has been attacked by an unknown party and a disc containing the Metal Slug secrets has been stolen. The disc contains not only the Squad's combat data, but also the schematics for the Metal Slugs. Of course, anyone getting their hands on the disc will be privy to the government force's secrets, so central characters Marco and Tarma receive orders from Tactical HQ to recover the disc at all costs.

Meanwhile, the Information Office's elite Sparrows Squad is investigating the Ptolemaic Army, a paramilitary syndicate active in pillaging archaeological sites. The syndicate is traced to ancient ruins known as the Corridor of Fire. As the story unfolds, it's no surprise to find that it is the Ptolemaic Army that is behind the theft of the disc: time for the Peregrine Falcons and the Sparrows Squad to go into action in another loud and colourful instalment in the Metal Slug series.
