Summary

The premise of Ape Escape 3 remains faithful to the tried and tested formula of previous games in the series - capturing monkeys. Sony's 2006 Ape Escape offering is packed with more content than any of the title's predecessors. There are 28 stages to explore (136 total areas, compared with 84 for the previous instalment) and lots of mini games to play.

In this instalment, the apes, led by the white monkey, have taken over the world's TV broadcasting stations and have begun airing non-stop monkey madness. To make matters worse, whoever watches these broadcasts will find themselves paralysed into a stupor at the television. So, it is up you as either Satoru or Sayaka (monkey-catchers and the main heroes of the game) to save the world! Only now you are much more powerful than ever before, armed with a wardrobe full of super-powered costumes, new vehicles and improved gadgets. Even familiar friends Kakeru, Hikaru, and the Professor have been immobilised after being tricked into watching monkey programming.

It will not be easy to capture the monkeys as they are now more animated and playful than ever before. Ape Escape 3 will definitely have both adults and children enchanted by these naughty little characters. Another new feature of the game is that the monkeys will actually show anger and counter-attack. They will also try to steal from you and may even capture you for a change!
