Summary

In Made Man, players must make their way through the ranks of the Mob, starting from young G.I. just back from Vietnam, to 'wise guy' on the make, doing jobs and earning respect from the Don of New York City (or the Capo di Tutti Capi as he is known to members of the Mafia).

The game has been made as authentic as possible with the input from genuine Mafia insiders. Bill Bonnano, a former high ranking member of the infamous Bonnano crime family got involved, along with New York Times best-selling author David Fisher.

The aim of the game is to reach the top end of the Mafia elite or become 'made'. Don't fool yourself - it will be far from easy. There are many sacrifices to be made, people to upset and dirty deeds to be done.

Players assume the role of Joey Verola and must play through the key events in his life of crime. Joey's story is told in 17 bullet-ridden chapters that span three decades, from the Vietnam jungles of 60s to the blood-soaked and action-packed 70s and 80s spent working for the Mob in the Big Apple.

Joey can whack people using various methods. You can fire two weapons simultaneously, including machine guns, pistols and rocket launchers, creating double the chaos in the process. Melee weapons, such as baseball bats, pool cues and machetes are available for hand-to-hand combat.

Made Man also features a reward system. As Joey fights, he will be rewarded for performing various types of hits and kills. The more reward points he gains, the greater his abilities and skills. It is important to remember not to hurt innocent civilians, as you will have your reward points taken away. If too many innocent civilians are maimed or killed, Joey's speed, accuracy and reload time are all reduced dramatically.

Picture-in-picture (PIP) is a great feature of Made Man. You can view the action at key locations away from Verola's immediate environment by taking advantage of the PIP views. PIP lets you memorise the locations of enemies and important items.

If you have ever wanted to be a 'made' member of the Costa Nostra, here's your chance. Whaddya gonna do?
