Summary
The zaniest woodpecker on the planet is back, in his very own platform game. But don’t panic, he has no idea what he’s doing. Woody Woodpecker is game for the younger players, and as a result it’s colourful, easy and fun. Nothing wrong with that.
Join Woody and his nephews in challenging Buzz Buzzard in the vile vulture’s crazy theme park. Hop on board rockets, take a ride on the ghost train, but watch out for those traps that Buzz and his pesky pals have laid in your path.
In Escape from Buzzard’s Park, you can play as all three leading characters from the cartoon; Woody, Knothead and Splinter. Dash around unbelievable 3D real-time settings, with incredible special effects.
There’s plenty of fun to be had with this game, there are over 30 levels to make your way through. And the later levels are far from small. You’ll need to master the controls and perfect your timing if you want to escape from the park.
Woody Woodpecker is similar to Nintendo’s classic Mario 64, a game many players regard as an all-time classic. Unfortunately, there aren’t too many really good 3D platformers on the PC, but with games like this, that situation is changing for the better.
