Summary
A hugely popular platformer from 1996, Crash Bandicoot has been an enduring success story, thanks to the omnipresence of the PlayStation, or perhaps due to the fact that it’s a great game. As a party game, Crash Bash essentially consists of a large number of mini-games that must be successfully completed to progress. Game modes include battle and tournament, but in adventure mode a small story line has been included, a sensible inclusion for the solo player. However, multiplayer action is where Crash Bash shines through, showing the addictive qualities of the game.
