Summary
One of the scariest movies of all time is making the transition to the world of video games. If you were scared by the film, then you will be terrified as you take the lead of the game. Just don’t go into the basement, whatever you do.
Evil Dead: Hail to the King is a 3D action adventure game for the PlayStation. The story is set eight years after the last film in the series. You play as Ash and you must take care of the dead-ites that have made their way to our world.
Evil Dead features a balanced blend of action and puzzles. There are times when it’s best to stand your ground and fight. Luckily you have a chainsaw on hand to kill the beasties. At other times, use your head and try to outsmart your opponents by gaining a tactical advantage.
Bruce Campbell, star of the original films, provides the voiceover in the game. Hearing Bruce’s chilling voice makes the game that little bit more real.
Evil Dead has been designed in a non-linear fashion, meaning that how you play the game is up to you. It also means that you can play the game in a completely different fashion the second time around.
