Established in 2001 by journalist and games designer Andy Roberts, Thalamus Interactive specialised in entertainment software for the Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance systems, releasing a number of successful titles on those platforms.
In June 2004 the company was rebranded as Scary Fish, shifting its focus to content outsourcing.
Thalamus Interactive is not connected to Thalamus Software of the 8-bit era.
Thalamus Interactive's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 2001 title, "International Karate Advance" (GBA).
The company has been involved titles released on the GBA and Game Boy Color.
