Ex-PC Format Editor's Daytime Sex Ad Pulled Off by ITV
Okay, so even we admit this is only tenuously related to gaming. It is, however, related to former PC Format editor (and someone many of us at SPOnG have worked with and rate as a top fella). So, we're going with it.

Richard Longhurst, who worked on the launch team of the Future Publishing PC mag before going on to edit it, left the games business and started the Lovehoney sex toy business. It appears to be recession proof. So, it's managed to get its first TV advert.

According to Brand Republic, "The ad was due to air on ITV2 during The Real Housewives of New York on 3 October at 10.15am..."

However, "Sources say the broadcaster felt the website, which viewers are directed to by the ad, was ‘too graphic’."

Boo!

However, "LoveHoney has said the ad will continue to be shown on daytime TV on E4, MTV and Living and will still launch on 3 October, although a media schedule has yet to be confirmed."

Rrray!

No probs Rich. So, the ad's still getting an airing then?

Phew.
