Summary

Based on the Disney Channel TV series, this game gives you the chance to play out the adventures of Alex Russo, her friends... and her brothers in not one but five adventures using the easy control and great graphics of the Nintendo DS.

The stylus becomes a magic wand and enables you to manipulate objects by levitation, freezing, just plain moving them around and more.

These skills will get you through fun mini-games including making Sub sandwiches, playing a game of 12-ball pool and even playing a quiz about the show using books from the library. As the game progresses, players will have the opportunity to find a number of coins and magic trinkets hidden in each of the game locations. Fans can use these items to unlock new wardrobe options to customize clothes for Alex and her brothers.

As ever with Alex, after buying a bracelet (simple, yes? No...) from the World Wide Wizard Web, everything starts to go wrong. For Alex this could all be a disaster, but for you the gamer it sees her joined by brothers Justin and Max as well as friends Harper, and Jerry and Theresa Russo.

Together – and under the control of the gamer – they get to explore places made familiar in the much-loved TV series. These include Waverly Sub Station, the Wizards Lair, Tribeca Prep, WizTech, the Russo loft.

And you don't have to play this on your own. The DS's Wi-Fi and locally networked wireless combines with the Wizards of Waverly Place game to provide a safe and secure environment to allow you and your friends to chat, create avatars and have even more Waverly fun.
