this could be one of the most honest reviews about this game , maybe a tad low but the IGN review is clearly bribed , no way this game is a 9.8

Nah I kid. Honest review bro it doesn't sound hyped like the others and its very level headed. I hope to see you out there when the rest of us US people get it on the 6th. look at for a gamertag named "gamerguy2002 v2" knifing you in the back. :p

So, after reading it I can actually and honestly say that you have not been following the halo universe... and It is alright, it is a game focused on the fans of the halo franchise, those who understand the halo universe quiet better than you think you do.
A quick example, the forerunner weapons adapt to its user and are made for that, that's why the just form in your hand, they get a familiar look to get the best out of them.
Other thing, the supressor is the worst of the forerunner weapons, all of them having unique functions and utilities, but at the same time, being balanced with other unsc and covenant weaponry.
The first half part of the game is not a 'filler' its a catch up.
And to finish, to truly enjoy the campaign, you dont have to... 'turn off' your brain, you have to actually turn it up to catch every single detail 343i cleverly set up.

It's clear Svend doesn't hate the series and i'd rather have an outsider review a game for a series I love than someone who might over look its faults just because it's Halo.
